FAQ
Ordering
Is everything made to order?
Yes. Nothing is printed until you order it, which is why we run small numbers and do not hold stock.
Do I need an account?
No. You can check out as a guest. An account lets you see past orders and check out faster. There is no password: enter your email and we send you a sign-in code.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible after ordering. Once a piece has gone into production it cannot be changed or cancelled.
Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, plus the express options shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place the order.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout is hosted by Shopify and encrypted. We never see or store your card details.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Free, worldwide, on every order.
When will my order arrive?
Allow a few business days for production, then roughly 5–10 days transit to the US, 10–15 to Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia, and up to 30 elsewhere. See Shipping.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. Every order ships with a tracking number, emailed to you at dispatch.
Will I pay customs or duties?
Shipping is free, but any import duties or taxes charged by your country are the recipient's responsibility and are not collected at checkout. Orders to South Korea above US$150 (US$200 when shipped from the United States) may be charged duties and VAT before delivery. See Shipping.
I'm in Korea. What is the customs code you ask for?
Korean customs requires a Personal Customs Clearance Code (개인통관고유부호) for every parcel entering Korea. You enter it at checkout when you choose a South Korea delivery address. If you do not have one yet, it is free and takes about a minute at unipass.customs.go.kr. Please double-check it: a missing or incorrect code holds your parcel at customs and can lead to it being returned, and we cannot refund delays or returns caused by an incorrect code. Full details on the Shipping page.
Sizing
How do I choose a size?
Every product page has a Size Guide with that piece's measurements in cm and inches, taken flat. The full set is on the Size Guide page. Between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit or down for a closer fit.
Are measurements exact?
They can vary by 1–2 cm depending on the manufacturing and measuring method. This is not considered a defect.
Are the models in your photos real?
No. For our first capsule, First Rites, the models in our product and lookbook imagery are AI-generated. We know AI-generated models are a real conversation in fashion right now, and that many photographers, models and creatives have concerns about them. We take those concerns seriously and would rather be upfront than leave you guessing.
We made this choice as a small, independent, made-to-order studio launching for the first time. It let us show every piece in every colour, clearly and consistently, without holding stock, and put what we have into the garments themselves: the fabric, the prints and the finish.
The models are built from real model measurements, so proportions and fit are true to life. Colours, prints and graphics are matched to the actual product, though drape can look slightly different in person. The models' measurements are listed on the Size Guide.
A note from the team
We've spent more than a decade in the creative and fashion space, and we understand the concerns around how quickly AI tools have evolved and the roles in our industry they're starting to replace. Those concerns are fair, and we don't take them lightly.
Where we land is this: these tools are here to stay, and we'd rather help shape how they're used than pretend they don't exist. Used well, they can be a powerful tool for creatives, not a replacement for them. They let a small, independent studio like ours bring an idea to life that might otherwise never have left the page. That's the more optimistic path we want Comforthaus to be part of.
And as Comforthaus grows, we plan to find meaningful ways to give back to the creative community we hold so dear. It's the community that shaped us, and we want to help it thrive.
Thank you for being here at the start.

Returns and refunds
Can I return or exchange?
No. Because each piece is made individually for you, we do not offer returns or exchanges, including for change of mind, sizing or colour preference. However, you may still qualify for a refund if your order arrives with a misprint or print defect, damage from production or transit, the wrong item, size or colour, or a manufacturing fault. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. See our Refund Policy.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Refunds are approved for misprints or print defects, items damaged in production or transit, the wrong item, size or colour received, and manufacturing faults. Once your claim is approved, you can choose a refund to your original payment method or a store coupon code for the same value. Normal wear, incorrect sizing chosen at checkout and minor colour or placement variance are not covered. See our Refund Policy.
The print is not in exactly the same place as the photo.
Print placement, scale and position vary slightly from piece to piece with made-to-order printing. Small differences in placement, shade or finish are normal and not considered a fault.
Care
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold or at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Iron on low and avoid ironing directly on the print. Do not dry clean. Each product's Fit & Fabric tab has the specifics for that piece.
